The bridge that was, the bridge that is not

Gisha Bridge was a bridge in Tehran that was built along the Jalal Al-Ahmad Highway and crossed the Shahid Chamran Highway. This bridge, with its side roads, was one of the tallest metal bridges in Tehran, which was built in the 1971. The movement of cars on this bridge continued until June 20th, 2019 and was fully collected in July of the same year. After collecting this bridge, the construction of Gisha underpass started and this project was put into trial operation on March 28th, 2020.
