World Garbage Removal Day Sep 19, 2020 Proponents and activists of environmental clean-up on September 15th, known as "World Cleanliness Day", flock to the streets, public places of cities, riverbanks and the sea to collect garbages for having a small contribution to land clean-up. In the meantime, with the efforts of the Tehran Municipal Waste Organization, the movement of collecting cigarette butts from the longest street in the Middle East was carried out with the presence of some members of the Islamic Council of Tehran, the CEO of the Waste Organization and a group of environmental activists.
